On 9 October 2025, ItaCham had the honor of witnessing a celebration of Italy’s finest at The Italian Blend of the Century — a sophisticated evening held in the grandeur of Rosewood Phnom Penh.
The event brought together connoisseurs of food, wine, and culture in a space awash with light, laughter, and the promise of discovery. Two of our distinguished members, Buonissimo Cambodia and Fantini Wines, played central roles that showcased the very best of Italian craftsmanship:
Buonissimo Cambodia, importer and distributor of Italy’s gourmet salumi and formaggi, presented stunning displays of charcuterie and cheese. The aroma and artistry of their offerings drew guests into a sensory journey across Italy’s culinary heritage.
Fantini Wines, with roots in Abruzzo and a commitment to sustainable, expressive winemaking, served their exquisite Edizione blend. This wine — combining Pecorino, Fiano, and Grillo — was celebrated as a highlight of the evening: elegant, complex, and emblematic of southern Italy’s viticultural spirit.
Guests mingled amid glimmering glassware and warm conversations. Luca Bonomi and the Fantini team greeted attendees with genuine hospitality, sharing stories behind each bottle and grape. The Edizione name was more than a label — it was a statement: a daring blend crafted to transcend usual varietal boundaries.
From ItaCham’s vantage, this event illustrated exactly what our mission strives to promote: the bridge between Cambodian and Italian cultures through trade, collaboration, and shared passion. Seeing members like Buonissimo and Fantini shine on such a stage reaffirms the vibrant role they play in the community.
We extend our deepest gratitude to both companies for contributing to a night that will linger in memory — and in palate. And we thank all who attended, tasted, and celebrated the Italian spirit with us.
