Today, the Chairman and Vice Chairman of ItaCham, Gabriele Faja and Riccardo Corrado, held a productive meeting with Stefano Pighin, Executive Director of the European Chamber of Commerce in Laos (ECCIL EuroCham Laos).
The discussion centered on fostering closer collaboration, exploring new opportunities, and addressing shared challenges to enhance the representation and business prospects of European and Italian enterprises in Cambodia and Laos.
As the official representative of the European business community in Laos, EuroCham Laos plays a pivotal role in advocating for its members, facilitating trade and investment, and strengthening public-private sector dialogue. Similarly, ItaCham, as the Italian national chapter of the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, has been committed since 2017 to fostering economic, cultural, and creative exchanges between Italy and Cambodia. During the meeting, the leaders of ItaCham and EuroCham Laos explored various avenues for collaboration. Both parties recognized the importance of organizing networking events, trade delegations, and knowledge-sharing platforms to create more opportunities for businesses to thrive in the region.
This meeting marks an important step towards greater cooperation, demonstrating the shared vision of both organizations in building a stronger European and Italian business presence in Southeast Asia.
