On April 5th, Phnom Penh’s city center came alive with the Songkran Big Bike Fest 2024, a vibrant celebration that fused motorbike culture with art, music, and Cambodian tradition. Held at F3 from morning until night, the event drew large crowds and offered a unique experience for both enthusiasts and casual visitors.
One of the standout presences was I Love Tattoos Studio Phnom Penh, founded by Italian artist and entrepreneur Michele Magni. His studio added an international and creative edge to the event, attracting attention from both local and foreign guests.
The festival featured a wide range of activities. Cambodian and international artists showcased their talents through live art and painting sessions, while motorbike enthusiasts enjoyed an impressive display of bikes and gear from local vendors. Throughout the day, the atmosphere was charged with energy thanks to live DJ sets, a fashion show, and performances by local bands.
Adding a rich cultural layer to the event, students from the Royal University of Fine Arts (R.U.F.A.) performed the traditional Lakhon Khol dance. Visitors also enjoyed Khmer traditional games, which helped reconnect attendees with Cambodia’s heritage in a fun and interactive way.
With its successful mix of modern excitement and cultural pride, the Songkran Big Bike Fest 2024 left a lasting impression and set a high bar for future city festivals in Phnom Penh.
