ItaCham visited the Wire & Tube Southeast Asia 2025

Bangkok, 17–19 September 2025 — ItaCham visited the Wire & Tube Southeast Asia 2025 Expo where the Italian Pavilion organized by the Italian Trade Agency, hosted many Italian companies. 

Event Overview
Wire Southeast Asia, along with its partner event Tube Southeast Asia, is one of the premier biennial showcases in the ASEAN region for processing and machinery related to wires, cables, tubes, and metal pipe products. In 2025, from 17 to 19 September, the expo was held at BITEC in Bangkok. More than 400 exhibitors from over 30 countries took part, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, innovators, and decision-makers. 

Italian Pavilion
The Italian Pavilion—curated by the Italian Trade Agency—served as a focal point for Italian firms looking to promote cutting-edge solutions, machinery, and components to the Southeast Asian market. Among the list of Italian exhibitors are companies such as Acimaf; Ate Applicazioni Termo Elettroniche SRL; AtomAt S.p.A.; Betasistemi SRL; Continuus-Properzi S.p.A.; CorAl S.p.A.; D.R.T Impianti S.r.l.; Dem S.p.A.; FimiGroup; Officine M.T.M S.p.A.; Pan Chemicals S.p.A.; and several others. 

Highlights & Strategic Importance

  • Networking & Market Access: The expo offered Italian firms a platform to connect with ASEAN market players, forging potential partnerships and supply‐chain linkages.

  • Technology & Innovation: Emphasis was placed on the latest machinery, digital production tools, and automation—aligning with the region’s push toward Industry 4.0. 

  • Synergy Among Sectors: With Wire, Tube, and related exhibitions like GIFA Southeast Asia and Metec Southeast Asia co‐located, attendees benefited from cross‐sectoral exposure — metalworking, foundry, pipe technology, etc. 

Outlook
ItaCham’s involvement adds momentum to Italy’s industrial diplomacy in Cambodia Southeast Asia. As regional manufacturing evolves and demand for sophisticated processing equipment and materials rises, participation in events such as Wire & Tube Southeast Asia helps position Italian firms at the forefront of innovation, export, and collaboration.
