ItaCham Backs Successful EuroCham HR Forum 2026

ItaCham was pleased to support the EuroCham Cambodia HR Forum 2026, which achieved its highest-ever turnout since the Forum’s inception, reflecting the growing importance of human capital development and workforce readiness in Cambodia.

Due to overwhelming demand, participant capacity for the Forum was increased twice; however, interest continued to exceed available space, highlighting the relevance of the event among Cambodia’s business and education communities.

The Forum was honored by the presence of senior representatives from the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MLVT), including:

  • Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training
  • SOM Chamnan, Secretary of State, MLVT
  • LA Vibol, Undersecretary of State, MLVT

The event also featured distinguished speakers and panelists from across the private, academic, and technology sectors, including:

  • Danone – Phallyn Yin
  • CamEd Business School – Phengly Oeung
  • ItaCham – Riccardo Corrado
  • SBI Cambodia – Jannine Sem
  • Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology – Pisal Chanty
  • Cellcard / Royal Group of Companies – Andrey Kuzin
  • Grab – Sokhim Veth
  • AI FARM ROBOTICS – Sovichea Tep

The HR Forum served as a valuable platform for dialogue among HR professionals, educational institutions, and public sector stakeholders. By convening both the supply side of the labor market—represented by educators and training providers—and the demand side—represented by companies and employers—the Forum fostered meaningful discussion on workforce development, skills alignment, and the future of employment in Cambodia.

Such collaboration is increasingly vital as Cambodia continues to navigate digital transformation, technological disruption, and the evolving needs of employers across sectors.

The Italian Business Chamber Cambodia extends its appreciation to the EuroCham Cambodia team, the leadership of the HR Committee, and CamEd Business School for sponsoring and supporting this impactful initiative.
