An unforgettable evening celebrating the Italian-American Heritage Day in grand style at the legendary Raffles Hotel Le Royal!
Hosted in partnership with AmCham Cambodia, the celebration beautifully blended Italian elegance with American spirit, bringing together both communities for a night of culture, friendship, and shared heritage. Guests delighted in a three-course Italian-American dinner, paired perfectly with fine Italian wines, premium whiskey, and the timeless Negroni aperitivo—all accompanied by live piano music and warm conversation in an atmosphere of genuine camaraderie.
October is recognized as Italian American Heritage and Culture Month, a time to honor the remarkable contributions of Italian Americans to the history, culture, and society of the United States. Across every field, examples abound—from Frank Sinatra, one of the greatest entertainers of all time, to Enrico Fermi, the Nobel Prize–winning physicist who built the first nuclear reactor; from Amadeo Pietro Giannini, founder of the Bank of Italy (which became the Bank of America), to Joe DiMaggio, the legendary baseball icon; and Fiorello La Guardia, the visionary mayor who modernized New York City with integrity and leadership. These names, among countless others, remind us how deeply intertwined the histories of Italy and the United States truly are.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors—iDeal Distribution Southeast Asia, Angkor Beer, Auskhmer Import & Export, Cambrew Ltd, Jack Daniel’s, and Pepsi Cambodia—for helping make this evening a true success. Together, we celebrated not just a heritage, but a shared legacy of innovation, artistry, and friendship that continues to unite our two great nations.
