Both the Italian Women’s and Men’s National Volleyball Teams have triumphed at the FIVB World Championships, held this year in two ASEAN nations, Thailand and the Philippines. With passion, determination, and unity, Italy climbed to the very summit of world volleyball, winning not one, but two gold medals. These victories are not only milestones in sporting achievement but also a reflection of the values that define our country and its people.

The women’s team, the Azzurre, lifted their second World Championship trophy in Bangkok after a dramatic five-set final against Türkiye. On the other side of Asia, in the Philippines, the men’s team mirrored this glory by successfully defending their world title, defeating Bulgaria in the final. With this win, the Azzurri claimed their fifth World Championship crown, underlining their position as one of the greatest teams in the sport’s history. Just as our athletes have shown the world what Italians can achieve when working together, so too can these values inspire future generations in Cambodia and across ASEAN to pursue excellence with the same determination.
